Brand Design

Hama

With over 18,000 products, Hama is one of the world’s leading manufacturers and distributors of smartphone, smart home, smart-wearables, audio hi-fi, TV, computer, photo and video accessories. The transition from stationary sales via retail partners to a direct-to-consumer company was an opportunity to fundamentally modernize and reposition the company's visual identity.

I was commissioned to help shape the new design direction for a fresh, concise brand identity. I developed the concept of a line derived from the logo’s shape and the brand’s vibrant, colorful imagery, both of which became the foundation and key elements of the final design. The line visually connects people and technology, adds depth and dynamism, and playfully represents Hama’s presence, always surrounding and supporting the user. The colorful visual language gives Hama a distinctive character and positions the brand boldly in the market.
